Kroger is advertising an extra 33% off Halloween candy with a digital coupon through October 20, 2026. Eligible new customers can also check a separate $30 off a first pickup or delivery order of $75 or more. The important part is the qualifying subtotal, not just the amount of candy you put in your cart.
Stacking note: We verified that Kroger advertises both offers, but have not independently verified a combined checkout for every account. Do not assume the $30 coupon will stack with the candy discount. Your account’s full coupon terms and final checkout must allow and show both savings.

What each offer requires
- 33% candy coupon: Clip the Halloween candy offer to your Kroger account and choose products included in that offer. Kroger’s Halloween landing page advertises the promotion through October 20. Confirm the exact expiration and redemption limits shown in your account.
- $30 first-order coupon: Kroger’s official first-order offer is for new customers placing their first eligible pickup or delivery order of $75 or more, where available. It is limited to one coupon use per household and does not apply in-store or to purchases placed through third-party apps such as Instacart or DoorDash.
- Watch the minimum: The first-order coupon pictured with the reported deal says its minimum purchase requirement is measured after other sales and discounts. Open the complete terms in your account before building a basket. Creating another account does not establish eligibility for a household that has already used the offer.
Two candy bags to check
These prices appeared in Kroger’s public listings when checked. They are examples, not nationwide price or stock guarantees. The calculated coupon prices below apply only if your store offers the same sale price and the 33% coupon includes the exact bag.
- Hershey assorted Halloween candy, 110 pieces / 34.8 ounces: listed at $18.49, down from $21.99. Calculation: $18.49 × 0.67 = approximately $12.39 before tax.
- Snickers, Twix, Milky Way and 3 Musketeers assortment, 110 pieces: listed at $15.99, down from $18.98. Calculation: $15.99 × 0.67 = approximately $10.71 before tax.
At those prices, the two bags total $34.48 before the candy coupon, or about $23.10 for 220 pieces after 33% off. That is roughly 10.5 cents per piece. This small basket does not meet a $75 first-order minimum. Availability varied between the sampled store listings, so select your local store before relying on either example.
How to check a possible stack
- Sign in to your own Kroger account and select your store and pickup or delivery method.
- Open both digital offers. Confirm first-order eligibility, excluded items, combination rules, expiration and whether fulfillment must occur before the offer ends. Clip only the offers you qualify for.
- Shop through the Halloween sale and each coupon’s eligible-item list. Match the bag size and count, not just the brand.
- Check the merchandise subtotal after the sale prices and candy discount, but before the $30 offer, against the minimum stated in your coupon.
- Review checkout for two separate coupon savings. If the $30 discount does not apply, do not assume it will appear later. Recheck the terms or ask Kroger before ordering.
- Review taxes, pickup or delivery fees, any tip, substitutions and the final estimated total before paying. Out-of-stock items and substitutions can change the result.
The threshold math, without a promised checkout price
Illustration only: If $120 of eligible candy is the subtotal after sale pricing, a 33% discount would remove $39.60 and leave $80.40. If the first-order coupon permits the combination and that $80.40 qualifies, subtracting $30 would leave $50.40 before tax and fees.
By contrast, $75 of candy before 33% off becomes $50.25. It would not satisfy a requirement to have $75 remaining after other discounts. Buy only what you need; extra spending just to reach a coupon threshold can erase the benefit.
Before you place the order
Use October 20 as the advertised candy-sale deadline and verify your selected fulfillment date. Some public coupon displays show October 21, so do not assume that means an extra shopping day. The coupon in your account governs its exact cutoff. We have not verified identical offers across every Kroger-family store.
Kroger notes that delivery fees vary and that prices can change with substitutions or order edits. This post does not promise free delivery, a specific final basket total or availability at every location. Read the full offer details before purchasing.
