Quick answer: Bath & Body Works’ official offers page lists selected car fragrance refills for $1.95 on October 12, 2026 with promo code CARBUDDY. The retailer describes it as a “today only” offer. Choose an eligible refill from the official promotion page, enter the code at checkout, and confirm the $1.95 item price before paying. Product and pickup availability can vary by location.

How to get the $1.95 car fragrance refill price

1. Open the official Bath & Body Works car fragrance promotion page.
2. Select a product whose listing specifically shows the $1.95 price with code CARBUDDY. Look for a refill, not only a decorative holder.
3. Add the eligible refill to your bag.
4. Enter CARBUDDY in the promotion-code field during checkout.
5. Review the order summary and make sure each intended eligible refill changed to $1.95 before you submit the order.
6. Check pickup or shipping availability for your selected store and address. Availability and fulfillment choices can differ by item and location.

The code requirement matters: the official product grid shows the promotional price as applying with code. A product sitting in your bag at its regular displayed price is not proof that the discount will appear automatically.

Which products are included?

The official promotion page labels specific car fragrance refills with the $1.95 offer. When checked on October 12, examples displayed with the promotion included scents such as Sweater Weather, Mahogany Teakwood, Champagne Toast, Endless Weekend, Ocean, Fiji White Sands, Cactus Blossom, and Mahogany Coconut. This list is only a snapshot; products can sell out or change during the day.

Do not assume every item on the category page qualifies. Bath & Body Works also shows car fragrance holders in the same shopping area, and a holder is a different item from a fragrance refill. The safest test is the product-level promotional message and the final checkout price.

How much is the discount?

The official page showed a regular listed price of $4.95 for participating refills and a promotional price of $1.95. That is a $3 difference per eligible refill before tax, shipping, or any other order costs. Treat that as simple price comparison math, not a promise that every scent or quantity will be available.

Avoid these common checkout mistakes

• Buying the holder instead of the refill: Confirm the product name says “fragrance refill” and displays the offer.
• Forgetting the promo code: Enter CARBUDDY and verify the discounted line-item price.
• Assuming all scents qualify: Use the current promotion page rather than a saved screenshot or an older social post.
• Ignoring fulfillment costs: A low item price can be less useful if shipping costs outweigh the savings. Check pickup availability or combine the purchase only with items you already planned to buy.
• Waiting without rechecking: The official page calls this a today-only deal, and inventory can change. Reconfirm the offer before checkout.

Is this deal worth it?

This promotion is most practical if you already own a compatible Bath & Body Works car fragrance holder and will use the refills. It may not be worthwhile if you need to buy an extra holder solely to use the refill, if your preferred scent is unavailable, or if shipping turns a small order into a poor value.

A simple rule: compare the complete checkout total—not just the headline item price—with what you planned to spend. Buying extra fragrances you will not use does not create real savings.

Quick shopping checklist

• Shop from the official promotion page.
• Choose a refill whose listing displays the offer.
• Use code CARBUDDY.
• Confirm $1.95 at checkout.
• Review taxes, shipping, and pickup availability.
• Skip unplanned add-ons that erase the value.
