Active military members and their dependents are entitled to free admission. In addition, DOD members and retiree may buy Adult General Admission tickets via MWR. You need to have a valid ID to enjoy these benefits.
Detroit Mountain
Veterans and active military personnel receive 20 percent with either veteran status ID or military ID for any standard priced lift tickets as well as for renting equipment. Some of the benefits cater for dependents with dependent ID cards. However, there are no discounts on special offers.
Detroit Tigers

Kennedy Space Center
Active members of the military get a $4 off admission when they present their military ID. Tickets are purchased at the Visitor Complex ticket windows, plus an extra 10 percent discount on food and merchandise. Reserves and retirees are entitled to discounted tickets at the MWR and ITT offices at military bases.
