Do you use Booster seats from BabyTrend, Chicco, Safety 1st, or Britax? You may want to keep reading or share this post with someone who does. Back in December of 2022, the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee released a report on their findings when they investigated safety concerns of Booster Seats. According to the report, the brands mentioned above had misleading claims, Meaningless Safety Testing and so much more. Booster seats are meant for older kids that reach a certain age (Varies by state) AND weigh 40 lbs or more… But Baby Trend, Britax, Chicco and Safety 1st all advertised booster seats for kids who weighed 30lbs. On top of this they mislead parents on when it was safe to switch their babies over to a Booster Seat.
