Check your freezers! A huge ground beef recall was just announced affecting over 28,000 pounds from stores like Walmart, Krogers, WinCo, and Albertsons. The recall comes after routine testing and was found to be contaminated with E Coli. E Coli is a dangerous bacteria which can be deadly. The affected ground beef was produced on December 20th, 2021 and the FDA is concerned some of the affected meat is in your freezer.
While currently this recall only involves 7 states: Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming, they were shipped to many stores in those states. If you have any of the contaminated meat you can take back to the store for a full refund.
