Macys Closing Stores- Is Yours One?

Macys has announced that they are closing stores beginning in January. With the pandemic hitting the US and many people having to stay apart multiple stores had to close their doors last year. On top of that with only a certain limit allowed inside at one time, retailers have lost revenue in these last two years. Macys operates a store in almost every single mall, but recently they started creating off mall small stores to test the waters. Macys plans to close 10 stores next month, and another 50 by 2023, majority of which will be in malls that do not do well.

Macys has released a list of which stores will be closing, 6 of which are in malls. See the full list below! These stores will be closing in the next few months with liquidation sales starting in just a few weeks. While it is sad to see stores close, for us bargain hunters it can be amazing. The stores closing will need to get rid of full inventory and the entire store will go on sale, even better with deals at 90% off the closer to the closing date!
