Here is something you don’t hear every day! McDonalds beloved Happy Meal is having some legal trouble! There is a pending class action reaching settlement over their advertising intentions. This class action alleges it’s targeting children in its advertising which is a violation of Quebec’s Consumer Protection Act.
The Canadian class action lawsuit began at the end of 2018 with a single complaint of a father with 3 children. He states he spent hundreds of dollars so his children could collect the toys, which they knew about from aggressive advertising targeted at kids. What are your thoughts?
