Welchs Juice Class Action Settlement
Welchs Juice Class Action Settlement has settled for $1.5 million with a final approval in March of 2022. So Welchs Food Inc was brought to court over false advertising of 3 of the grape juices. Just like the Concord Grape pictured above. These juices were advertised to be good for heart health, when in fact they are not. Instead they increase the risk of cardiovascular disease. Consumers were duped into thinking the grape juice was healthy and good for them, causing more and more people to buy.
Customers who purchased any of these three Welch’s 100% Grape Juice Concord Grape, 100% Juice Red Sangria or 100% Black Cherry Concord Grape Juice between 2016 and 2021 can claim $1 per product with no proof needed.
