WHOA! $9M Class Action Settlement: Do You Have a Smartphone? Check This Out!
A $9 million class action settlement that resolves allegations of numerous tablet and smartphone makers installing wiretapping software on mobile devices is now open.
Smartphone and tablet consumers who bought a device manufactured by HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Pantech Wireless, or Samsung with service on AT&T, Cricket, Sprint, or T-Mobile are eligible to join this class action settlement.
Carrier iQ settlement Class Members include all U.S. residents who purchased, owned, or were authorized users of certain phones and tablets manufactured by HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Pantech Wireless, or Samsung with service on AT&T, Cricket, Sprint, or T-Mobile between Dec. 1, 2007 through Mar. 1, 2016.
Class Members don’t need to provide a proof of purchase but they must submit a Claim Form no later than June 4, 2016.
