Christmas Penny Items During August Christmas Sale!?!?

Many Dollar General Stores have been setting out a lot of different Christmas items. These items have just been in the back storage area when Dollar General asked stores to pull certain items after the major clearance a few months ago before they went to a penny. If you are a penny shopper you are aware that most Christmas items that went to a penny did reset and went back to full price. There was one category that has not reset and people are finding them for a penny during this Christmas Sale that is going on right now in this week in August. This gives you a chance for some possible Christmas Penny Items during this August  Christmas Sale this week.

The one category that has not reset and that you need to scan at your store when you see them are Christmas Storage. This includes the small decorate tote boxes, larger decorate tote boxes, Wreath & Garland Bags, Gift Wrap Organizer bags, and 32QT Hefty Tote (This is with the latching Red lid). There is a couple more items I am sure that have not reset. When you are shopping this Christmas Clearance Sale and you see other Christmas items set out that are not part of this sale, be sure to scan, scan, and scan. This is so exciting and can be so much fun. Always remember to not ask employees about Penny items. Make sure that your Dollar General App is set to your store location that you are currently shopping in. Penny items are YMMV deals due to stock and other factors. This one is a huge YMMV. You need to just scan Christmas items and see if you score Christmas items that have not reset and that are still a penny. Especially scan the Christmas Storage listed above if you find this out in your store. It is not guaranteed you will find any. Do not go out just to find these, so that you are not wasting gas or your time in case your store does not have these items out. I would just look for these if you are already in the store shopping.
