Dollar General Clearance Event System Error Glitch!!!

Have you been out trying to get the clearance event deals for 8/17-8/19 and have not be successful with getting any of the deals? Don’t worry the clearance event is in fact still suppose to be happening, their is just currently a glitch in the system. Alot of stores and registers are not ringing up correctly on the DG app, on their handheld device or at the registers. Below are going to be some more details about what systems are working and what you can do right now to get items now that are part of this clearance event.

With the Dollar General system glitching for the clearance event sale the only stores that the sale appears to be working at is at New Gen Stores at Self Checkout. This is even a YMMV with that but is the only system confirmed to be working at this time. The older system stores with regular registers are not working for the Clearance sale at this time. What you can do if you can not get the items to ring up right at your store is ask for an override. If signs are hanging up in store, managers may override the prices for you. If you are not able to get an override, be kind and be patient. Dollar General Cooperate is working on fixing this issue.
