Kohls Return Policy

Kohl’s goal is to make returns and exchanges as “hassle-free” as possible. The first thing to know about their policy is that you have 180 days from purchase to return or exchange your item. The one exception to this time frame is Premium Electronics which, is a 30 Day return period.

Returns for online purchases can be sent in by mail or taken in-store to be returned or exchanged. If returning by mail, pull up your order in your order history or email. There you will find your invoice. Then, head to Kohl’s website to initiate your return and print your shipping label.

Bring the item you want to return or exchange for In-Store Returns, your original receipt, and a valid ID. If you don’t have your original receipt, don’t worry. Rewards Members and Credit Card Holders can also pull up a copy in the Kohl’s App. If you are not a member or cardholder and can not find your receipt, don’t fret. The Kohl’s associate can pull your receipt up via the card used to purchase or by scanning the SKU number directly on the product. Just be prepared for a little extra time spent looking up your transaction. If the associate cannot locate the transaction, you will receive a Kohl’s merchandise credit equivalent to the lowest product price in the last 13 weeks.
