Released during Jordan's first retirement when he was off playing minor league baseball, the Air Jordan 9 is one of the more overlooked silhouettes of the ‘90s. Jordan never wore the shoe while with the Chicago Bulls, though he did wear the “Cool Grey” colorway as a member of the Washington Wizards, effectively boosting the shoe’s status among the sneaker community. Here, a white leather base and contrasting Gym Red patent leather mudguard gives off a premium aesthetic. The vibrant red patent leather extends to the heel with white embroidered “23” branding contrasting the look.
