It’s no secret Sears and Kmart have been in trouble for years, with more and more stores shuttering every year. The store closures have been a treasure hunt for deal hunters as liquidation sales mean sales on clothes, housewares and more up to 90% off.
This latest sign may mean the end really is in sight for Sears, a corporation that has been a household name for generations. A list has been leaked from Sears and Kmart some more stores closing this year by April 2021, you can see that list below.
Perhaps the most interesting and telling piece of the puzzle is the pending sale of Sears corporate office in the outskirts of Chicago. A former employee let go recently says the campus is nearly empty and the staff is at the bare minimum.
