When is Tax Free Day and What is it
Tax FREE weekend has been announced for 2021. It always happens around back to school time in August. Both parents and students love this weekend to score tons of back to school items. But when is tax free day Take a look at the list below to find your state and the dates this event will be going on. Not every state participates in the holiday and we will keep the list updated if any more states announce their days.
What can you get on tax free days
The holiday runs from August 31 to Aug. 9 which is up from just the 3 days it was last year but is different depending on the states. And allows people to avoid paying sales tax on clothes costing $60 or less, school supplies with exceptions costing $15 or less, and the first $1,000 of the price of a personal computer. Cell phones are not included as part of the electronics for personal use. Take a look at the list below on the Tax free states participating.
